Joe PhillipsJoe Earl Phillips Feb. 6, 1960 - Aug. 15, 2010 Joe Earl Phillips, age 50, passed away peacefully at home due to complications from colon cancer. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Lynette (Saterfield) Phillips; sons, Sterling Jamal and Spencer Tremaine; sister, Faye Phillips-Brown; brother, Pat Phillips; and many nieces and nephews. He was devoted to youth basketball and proudly served as President of Texas Thunder Basketball Club. Joe was a positive influence in the lives of many young men who played Thunder basketball. He worked tirelessly to meet the goals of the Texas Thunder organization.
